Built of Cotswold Stone in 1770 on the site of an earlier flour mill listed in the Domesday Book of 1086, it is typical of the style that distinguishes the Cotswolds. Set in ten acres of lawned gardens, the Mill has its own trout stream. Kingham was voted Englands Favourite Village by Country Life magazine in 2007. Head Chef Matthew Dare serves modern British food based on fresh local produce in season, fish delivered overnight from Looe Day Boat fish market, vegetables from the Vale of Evesham and Cotswold raised lamb and beef. The wine list offers New and Old World wines. Lighter meals can be taken in the Mill Stream Bar or on the Terrace overlooking the trout stream.
